Advertising Disclosure
Loan Directory may use advertising to support the site. This disclosure explains how advertising is separated from independent editorial content.
Our advertising model
Loan Directory may earn revenue from display advertising, including services such as Google AdSense, and may in the future use clearly disclosed sponsorships or affiliate relationships. Advertising revenue helps support the cost of hosting, research, maintenance and editorial work.
Editorial independence
Advertising does not determine the conclusions of our educational articles, our explanations of loan costs or our editorial standards. Advertisers do not receive a favorable editorial ranking simply because they purchase advertising. If a page contains sponsored or affiliate material, that commercial relationship should be identified clearly enough that a reader can distinguish it from independent editorial content.
How ads should appear
Ads should be visually distinguishable from site navigation and editorial links. We do not ask readers to click ads, promise rewards for viewing ads or use arrows, images or labels intended to create accidental ad clicks. Ads should not cover important content or prevent visitors from navigating the site.
Advertising on low-content pages
We do not intend to place display advertising on error pages, contact pages, consent screens or other pages whose primary purpose is navigation, utility or a private communication. Advertising should appear only where substantial publisher content is the main focus.
Financial-product advertising
An advertisement appearing on Loan Directory is not an endorsement, guarantee, recommendation or statement that a product is suitable for a particular reader. Loan availability, eligibility, rates and terms are determined by the advertiser or provider, not by Loan Directory.
Sponsored and affiliate content
If sponsored or affiliate content is introduced, the relationship should be disclosed near the relevant material. Sponsored content must still follow our editorial and accuracy standards and should not imitate independent editorial recommendations.
